Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary stated that peace has made Cambodia develop and use its full potential for national development and has significantly raised the living standards of its people. Samdech Rathsaphea Thipadei stressed that Cambodia is enriched with cultural assets and natural resources, but due to warfare, Cambodia has lost huge resources, such as in the field of jewelry and precious stones.

The President of the National Assembly highlighted this on the occasion of a courtesy call with the Cambodian Gems & Jewelry Traders Association (CGTA) delegation led by Dr. Chhay Sinath, Acting President of the Association, who will host the upcoming 15th Cambodia-International Jewelry and Gems Fairs in March 2024.

On this occasion, Samdech Rathsaphea Thipadei Khuon Sudary emphasized that Cambodia now has achieved full peace and stability due to the great sacrifices of the great leader of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, and peace and social stability continue to be firmly maintained and protected by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the 7th Mandate in leading Cambodia towards further progress and development.

Dr. Chhay Sinath expressed his deep gratitude to Samdech Rathsaphea Thipadei for offering the opportunity for the Association's delegation to meet and receive recommendations for the upcoming 15th Cambodia-International Jewelry and Gems Fairs. The acting President of the Association reported on the previous progress and achievements of the Association which has contributed to the promotion of business in Cambodia as well as expanded its business partners and attracted more investors to Cambodia. The Association also participates in social work, humanitarian activities and promotes gender equality by valuing sculptures made by women.

Samdech Rathsaphea Thipadei Khuon Sudary praised the Fairs organized by the Cambodian Gems & Jewelry Traders Association as an important event because it not only helps to promote the jewelry sector, but also helps to attract foreign investors to Cambodia. This can attract more tourists and traders while we showcase the traditions, customs, national cultural heritage, works of art and Cambodian sculptures to foreign visitors.

The President of the National Assembly said that Cambodia is a land of Sovannaphum (Golden Land), which is full of cultural treasures and natural resources. By maintaining peace, Cambodia will attain more progress and development in all areas. Samdech Rathsaphea Thipadei also encouraged the Association to design and produce luxurious jewelry and precious stones of a high quality, as well as encouraged them to highlight the fine Khmer design to gain trust in both domestic and international markets.
