On February 8, 2024, Samdech Rathsaphea Thika Thipadei Khuon Sodary, President of the National Assembly, granted permission for delegation executives from Metfone to pay a courtesy call and receive suggested guidance to deliver better telecommunications technology services to the people of Cambodia.
On the occasion, Mr. Cao Manh Duc, General Director, expressed his gratitude to Samdech Rathsaphea Thipadei for taking the precious time to allow delegation executives to pay a courtesy call and receive suggested guidance. He informed Samdech President of the National Assembly that the company has been investing in Cambodia for 15 years up until now.
Over the past 15 years, the company has contributed to providing mobile and internet services to people across the country and has an estimated 9 million customers. In addition, the company has engaged in social work, humanitarian activities, welfare, and promoting the football sector in Cambodia. The company has established cooperation with many Cambodian ministries in the technology field, striving to extend telecommunication technology services to cover almost all areas and remote areas throughout Cambodia.
The General Director praised and was amazed by the rapid growth of Cambodia and expressed his satisfaction in contributing to its development by offering employment opportunities to thousands of Cambodians.

Samdech President of the National Assembly stated that many Vietnamese companies have come to invest in Cambodia in various sectors. Regarding tourism, Vietnamese people ranked second in terms of visiting Cambodia, indicating the strong growth of people-to-people relations, which is valuable not only to bring benefits, prosperity, and peace for both countries but also for ensuring peace, social stability, and regional as well as international development.
